Badam (Almond) Shake

Badam Shake is a delicious and healthy drink that is popular in India and other parts of the world. Made with soaked almonds, milk, and sweetener, this creamy and nutty shake is a perfect drink for any time of the day. Here's a recipe for Badam (Almond) Shake:

Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup almonds, soaked overnight or for at least 4-5 hours
  • 3 cups milk (you can use any milk of your choice - cow's milk, almond milk, or soy milk)
  • 4-5 tablespoons sugar (or sweetener of your choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • Saffron strands (optional)
  • Ice cubes


Instructions:


  1. Drain and peel the soaked almonds.
  2. In a blender, add the almonds, milk, sugar, and cardamom powder. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the mixture into a tall glass and add ice cubes.
  4. Garnish with a few saffron strands (optional).
  5. Serve chilled and enjoy your Badam Shake!

Note:

You can adjust the sweetness according to your taste preferences by adding more or less sugar. You can also add a few strands of saffron to the shake for added flavor and aroma. If you don't have a blender, you can use a mortar and pestle or a food processor to grind the almonds into a fine paste before adding them to the milk.
